Dawn Zeiglar works with Jacobs Architectural Design in Orlando. Dawn discusses her education, her career, and more in this episode of 10 Questions.
“Hi!
My name is Dawn Ziegler and I am a person of multiple skills and talents! I’ve been creative a
major percentage of my life and I know deep down that anything art related is what sparks my
passion. I started my art background studying in high school and at art colleges in Philadelphia
and decided to learn new skills at Keiser to keep me fresh and up to date when I moved down. I
love almost any medium and love being challenged! I am an inquisitive person and
feel the need to keep doing and learning. Isn’t that what life is for?
I moved to Florida in 2006 and have worked in the printing/ reprographics industry over 20
years. I’ve been hired by a great architectural company – Jacobs Engineering, as an Architect.
I’d prefer being called an “apprentice” because there is so much to learn in this field and I want
to learn as much as I can, I’m not there yet. The skills Keiser has blessed me and helped
tremendously in my transition to bigger and better things, plus a bit of drive and determination helped
too.
One bit of advice I’d share is DO NOT give up! If you know deep down of what you want to
do, go get it. Achieve your goals and go get what sparks you. Be relentless and passionate
about it! Please feel free to check out my portfolio on behance.net/Dawnziegler and find me on most of
the social medias.”
